I love berets, but why do they have to itch so badly? It drives me bananas. I need to find some with acrylic or something. Thank goodness we are DONE with beret season for some time!
I also love painting monochromatically. It’s crazy how many tints, tones and shades you can make with just one color by mixing it with white, grey or black. I’m currently doing a painting project like this with my students and they are really grooving on it.
The peacock hue doesn’t perfectly come through in the photos, but trust me they are spot-on, the same teal in person. These earrings are especially fun to pair and if you ever need inexpensive accessories in a specific color, Target is your place. Paired with some quality essentials and old school Chuck Taylors, it made for a fun work-casual outfit.
I created this painting when I was “in a mood;” hence, the title. I see myself creating more paintings in this style as it really speaks to me. What do you think? Please tell. I’d love to hear from you!
Painting came first, outfit second. Painting is still in progress and sadly this painting in progress photo is way too red shifted. Stay tuned. xoxo
