Fields of gold for reals!

We took a little day wander in search of canola fields and just as we were about to turn the car around, kaboom!  Fields of GOLD! Seriously just stunning, right!?!  Last year we were in search of sunflower fields and found them dead, bummer! I’ll be sure to catch those in full-bloom this year too.

One of my all-time favorite memories was during college when I studied art in Italy for a summer.  Our group was driving through Tuscany’s sunflower fields listening to Sting’s “Fields of Gold” and it was EPIC!  One of the most carefree moments of my life.

I love this time of year, although I’m not sure it loves me.  Has everybody been sneezing nonstop too?  OMG I’m about to go crazy and tear my eyes out and my nose off.

Anyhoo, outfit came first, painting second.
