Walk The Line

Back at it peeps! So sorry I’ve been MIA. Such is life.

For some reason I was feeling the school girl vibe today, but had no idea where to shoot the look.  Soooo we went on a wander.  First we were in search of this turn-of-the-century grade school, only to find it under construction with a cyclone fence enclosing it.  Nearby, I spotted these amazing grain silos and got so excited, especially when I discovered we could get inside to take a closer look.

Sadly we discovered we’d forgotten the SD card for the camera.  Rather than driving all the way back,  I said, “Lets just wing it and try the phone camera.”  So here you have iPhone X photos.  They are okay, but not as good as using a DSLR.  Oh well.

I seriously can’t get enough of the urban blight backdrop.  It’s crazy fun to explore and trompse around derelict locations.  These gems always provide amazing visceral backgrounds and intrigue.  The grittiness is compelling and I want to know the stories of this space.

Especially fun to contrast the blight with a classic school girl look.

Wishing you all a happy weekend!
