Back to school!

I never imagined two years ago that I would be back in the classroom teaching art students again, but admittedly it feels great!  After two rewarding years off to create art, I realized that I needed a little more purpose in my life.  Thankfully, I have it back.

The school-girl style is inarguably timeless and this letterman’s jacket has been begging for attention lately.  Sometimes the little details in your outerwear or accessories like socks, a scarf or hat can define and anchor your look.  I took advantage of this big B and rolled with it!

Black + white together will forever be a timeless classic too.  Casual, playful or elegant, the contrast always works.  I’m sorta thinking this epic black button-up suede skirt will be timeless in my own wardrobe as well.

This textural abstract expressionist painting from 2011 is reminiscent of the color palette in this photo shoot.  The tawny grasses paired with the black & white makes for a nice neutral combination.  Wishing you all a great weekend!
